The 2025 Chengdu auto show is just around the corner, and the organizers have unveiled the detailed booth layout for the event. Scheduled to take place from August 29 to September 7 at the Western China Expo City in Chengdu, Sichuan province, this year’s show promises to be a spectacular affair.
Covering an expansive exhibition area of 220,000 square meters, the event will feature over 1,600 models from nearly 120 brands. Among the participants are Chinese electric vehicle (EV) startups like Nio, Xpeng, Li Auto, and Leapmotor, as well as automotive giants including BYD and GWM. Notably absent from the lineup is Tesla, which will continue to sit out the event.
At the show, Nio will share a booth with its sub-brand Firefly at H405 in Hall 4, while its other sub-brand, Onvo, will have an independent booth at H1405 in Hall 14. Xpeng’s booth can be found at H1106 in Hall 11, Li Auto at H1501 in Hall 15, and Xiaomi EV at H1607 in Hall 16. Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business will also have a presence at H304 in Hall 3.
BYD Group will be a major highlight of the event, occupying the entirety of Hall 9. The showcase will include models from brands like BYD, Denza, Fang Cheng Bao, and Yangwang, as well as cutting-edge technologies such as its God’s Eye and 1-MW ultra-fast charging.
The Chengdu auto show has established itself as one of China’s premier automotive exhibitions, drawing in enthusiasts and industry professionals alike. While the Shanghai and Beijing auto shows are held every two years, the Chengdu show is an annual affair that continues to grow in stature and influence.
