The DS No 8: A Revolutionary Electric Vehicle

The DS No 8 showcases the brand’s commitment to innovation and efficiency, both inside and out. The cabin features a neck-warmer system usually found in cabriolets, offering a more energy-efficient way to warm the body. Heated seats, included as standard, further enhance comfort while reducing energy consumption.

The interior of the No 8 is a departure from traditional design, featuring a unique four-spoke steering wheel and monolithic geometric panels. The dashboard is button-free, with most controls integrated into a central 16-inch infotainment screen for a minimalist look.

Offered with three powertrains and two battery options, the No 8 provides versatility and performance. The entry-level model boasts a front-mounted motor producing 256bhp with a 74kWh battery, offering a range of 355 miles and a 0-62mph time of 7.7 seconds.

The High Range variant features a single motor delivering 276bhp paired with a 97.2kWh battery, providing an impressive range of 466 miles. The top-tier model adds a second motor for a combined power of 370bhp, accelerating from 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds with a range of 426 miles.

Efficiency is a priority for DS, with power outputs adjusted based on battery charge levels to optimize performance. Prices for the No 8 in mainland Europe range from €60,000 to €75,000, with competitive pricing expected in the UK market to boost sales and presence.

Anticipated UK deliveries are set to commence by the end of the following year, offering British consumers a chance to experience the groundbreaking technology and design of the DS No 8.
