2025 Drivers of Change Awards: Celebrating Diversity in the Automotive Industry

Time is running out to submit your nominations for the 2025 Drivers of Change awards, a groundbreaking initiative in partnership with Ennis & Co and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) aimed at recognizing diverse talent in the automotive sector.

Building on the success of Autocar’s Great Women initiative, Drivers of Change is a fresh take on celebrating the automotive industry as an inclusive environment for all individuals.

The winners of the Autocar Drivers of Change awards will be those who are actively leading change and promoting diversity within their organizations, regardless of their specific role. Judges will be looking for entries that showcase a commitment to embracing diversity in terms of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.

Don’t miss the opportunity to nominate someone for this prestigious award by visiting here before the deadline on 1 November.

Winners will be announced across nine different categories, with all shortlisted nominees earning the title of ‘Autocar Driver of Change’. The award ceremony will take place at the SMMT’s London headquarters on 6 February 2025.

The most outstanding candidates will be selected from various sectors of the automotive industry including marketing, manufacturing, operations, PR and communications, purchasing, retail, sales, talent, and vehicle development.

Individuals can either self-nominate or be put forward by colleagues, friends, or employers. The awards are open to all professionals working in the British automotive industry, including British expatriates.

If you know someone deserving of recognition, consider casting a wide net within your organization to identify potential nominees. We encourage nominations from across different teams and departments.

Nominators will be required to provide evidence of the nominee’s impact on the business and the industry. Companies are welcome to submit multiple nominations without any restrictions.
