Bold iX3 to arrive in September and mark start of next BMW era

Introducing the BMW iX3: A New Era of Electric Driving

BMW is set to revolutionize the electric vehicle market with the introduction of the iX3, featuring an 800V electrical architecture that allows for rapid charging at up to 400kW. This means that drivers can top up their battery with a 218-mile range in just 10 minutes from compatible chargers.

Upon its arrival in the UK next year, the iX3 will offer two powertrain options: a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive configuration and a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive setup capable of delivering up to 402bhp.

The second-generation iX3 boasts a new computing system that is 10 times faster than the current BMW models, ensuring seamless performance and efficiency. To optimize interior space and enhance aerodynamics, BMW has innovatively attached the front seats directly to the battery pack, a first for the brand.

Visually, the iX3 pays homage to BMW’s iconic Neue Klasse models from the 1960s, featuring a sleek design with small kidney grilles and a gloss black panel on the front end. The panel discreetly houses sensors and cameras for advanced driver assistance systems.

The exterior of the iX3 showcases a modern, boxier silhouette with angular lights and a striking rear light bar. Inside, the iX3 will be the first vehicle to incorporate BMW’s cutting-edge iDrive X system, offering drivers a seamless and intuitive user experience.
