Beijing (Gasgoo)- Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. (DFAC), the commercial vehicle arm of Dongfeng Motor, has achieved a significant milestone in its global expansion by commencing production of its light-duty trucks at a Knocked Down (KD) facility in Morocco.

The KD facility in Morocco, where Dongfeng’s light-duty trucks are produced alongside renowned international brands like Mercedes-Benz and ISUZU, signifies a new era for Dongfeng’s presence in the North African market.

By sharing production lines with leading global brands, Dongfeng’s light-duty trucks benefit from shared technologies and resources. Skilled workers ensure that each vehicle meets Dongfeng Motor’s global manufacturing standards, undergoing rigorous quality inspections to ensure top-notch performance, durability, and safety.

DFAC’s light-duty truck offerings have gained traction in the Moroccan market, culminating in a recent order for 500 trucks from a local customer. This success solidifies DFAC’s position in North Africa, with a sales agreement for 2025 already in place, outlining future annual targets and strategic cooperation.
