Chery’s Jetour brand recently launched its latest offering, the Shanhai T1 plug-in hybrid electric off-road SUV. This new model comes in three variants – “To the Mountain,” “To the Lake,” and “To the Sea,” with prices ranging from 154,800 yuan to 174,800 yuan.

The Shanhai T1 features a distinctive design that combines European luxury with Eastern natural aesthetics. It is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng C-DM hybrid electric technology, which includes a specialized hybrid battery that provides a range of up to 150 km on battery power alone. When the battery is depleted, the SUV boasts a fuel consumption rate of just 5.89L per 100 km.

Inside, the Shanhai T1 offers a spacious interior with an adaptive ventilated seating system that adjusts airflow based on occupant weight. The ergonomically designed seats ensure comfort on long journeys, while the rear seats can be folded down to create a nearly 2-meter flatbed for added versatility.

Designed for off-road adventures, the Shanhai T1 is equipped with a 28° approach angle, a 29° departure angle, a minimum ground clearance of 200 mm, and a wading depth of 600 mm. These features make it capable of handling rugged terrains, from mountain climbs to river crossings, providing a robust experience for adventurous drivers.

Overall, the Jetour Shanhai T1 is a versatile and capable off-road SUV that caters to a wide range of outdoor enthusiasts. With its hybrid electric technology and rugged design, it is a great option for those looking to explore off-the-beaten-path destinations.
