The highly anticipated debut model of Nio’s third brand, Firefly, has been the subject of numerous spy shots over the past few months. While previous images focused on the front and rear of the vehicle, a new high-definition spy shot has now revealed the side profile of the car for the first time.

Shared by car blogger @电动星球小新 on Weibo, the latest spy photo showcases the sleek and modern design of the Firefly model. According to the blogger, the Firefly model is set to make its official debut next month, generating significant buzz within the automotive industry.

Describing the exterior of the Firefly model, the blogger highlighted its bold and distinctive front and rear face, positioning it as a standout in the market. The overall size of the car is said to fall between that of a Mini and a Volkswagen ID.3, offering a unique blend of style and functionality.

Drawing comparisons to other popular brands, the blogger noted that the Firefly model exudes a level of intelligence that surpasses traditional Mini vehicles. This emphasis on cutting-edge technology and innovation sets the Firefly brand apart in the competitive electric vehicle space.

Nio officially unveiled its third brand, Firefly, on November 20, revealing that the first product under this new brand would share the Firefly name. The brand is set to be officially launched at Nio Day 2024 on December 21, with deliveries of the first model expected in the first half of 2025.

With plans to enter a new product cycle, Nio aims to accelerate its growth trajectory through the introduction of new models under the Onvo and Firefly brands. This strategic approach aligns with the company’s broader vision to expand into global markets and solidify its position as a leader in the electric vehicle sector.
