Toyota has unveiled its new 2026 C-HR electric SUV, and it is already turning heads with its stylish design and impressive features. The revamped EV SUV was recently spotted filming a commercial, giving us a closer look at what to expect from this affordable electric vehicle.

The 2026 C-HR is set to launch in 2026 and is part of Toyota’s lineup of electric SUVs. The US model of the C-HR looks similar to the EU version but drops the “plus” from its name. With a sleek design inspired by Toyota’s latest models, the new C-HR features a “hammerhead front end” that sets it apart from its gas-powered predecessor.

Measuring 177.9″ long, 73.6″ wide, and 63.8″ tall, the new C-HR is smaller than Toyota’s bZ electric SUV. It will be available in various powertrain options, including all-electric, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fuel cell variants.

Powered by a 74.7 kWh battery, the 2026 C-HR is expected to offer a range of up to 290 miles. It comes with standard AWD and features front and rear eAxles. The SUV also includes a built-in NACS port for recharging at Tesla Superchargers, with a fast-charging capability that can go from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

Inside, the C-HR boasts a high-tech cabin with a 14″ infotainment system, Toyota’s Audio Multimedia System, and support for Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The stylish and functional interior complements the sleek exterior design of the vehicle.

The new Toyota C-HR electric SUV is expected to arrive at dealerships in 2026 with a starting price tag of around $30,000. Given the affordable pricing of the outgoing model, the electric version is poised to offer a cost-effective option for consumers looking to go electric.
