Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated next-generation P7 electric sedan in Beijing on August 6, marking a significant upgrade to one of its flagship models.

The all-new Xpeng P7 is set to make its debut in the Chinese capital, with the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer targeting a price range of RMB 300,000 ($41,820) for the sleek sedan. This announcement comes as Xpeng continues to solidify its position in the competitive EV market.

Built on the same E platform as the G9 SUV, the new P7 will not come equipped with LiDAR technology. Despite this, the sedan boasts advanced assisted driving functions for urban roads and highways, showcasing Xpeng’s commitment to innovation and intelligent mobility solutions.

The P7’s entry into China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) regulatory catalog revealed key specifications, including a length of 5,017 mm, width of 1,970 mm, height of 1,427 mm, and a wheelbase of 3,008 mm. These dimensions align with Xpeng’s dedication to offering spacious and comfortable electric vehicles to consumers.

With a focus on both the domestic and global markets, Xpeng aims to cater to diverse consumer preferences by offering a range of intelligent and performance-driven features in the new P7 sedan. The company’s strategic approach underscores its commitment to meeting the evolving needs of EV enthusiasts worldwide.

The upcoming debut of the P7 follows Xpeng’s successful launches of the Mona M03, P7+, and P7i sedans, with the P7+ model catering to family-oriented customers seeking ample space and functionality. In contrast, the new P7 promises a more personalized and comprehensive driving experience, blending cutting-edge technology with premium design elements.

Designed by Xpeng’s head of creative design, Rafik Ferrag, the new P7 showcases a bold exterior aesthetic characterized by distinctive hard lines at the rear. This unique design approach sets the sedan apart from traditional models in the market, offering a blend of sophistication and individuality.

As Xpeng prepares to introduce the next-generation P7 to the public, anticipation is running high for the sedan’s official unveiling in Beijing. With its innovative features, competitive pricing, and global market focus, the new P7 is poised to make a significant impact in the rapidly expanding EV landscape.

Stay tuned for more updates on Xpeng’s latest electric sedan as it makes its grand debut in Beijing on August 6, setting new benchmarks for intelligent mobility and sustainable transportation solutions.
