Hyundai’s midsize crossover, the Santa Fe, may not be the most budget-friendly option on the market, but it certainly doesn’t skimp on features. With a rating of 9 out of 10, this vehicle offers a generous array of standard equipment at each trim level, making it a compelling choice for those looking for a well-equipped ride.

Starting at around $38,500, the base Santa Fe SEL comes with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, a matching 12.3-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and a hands-free power tailgate. While the cloth seats have manual adjustment in the front, the wealth of features more than makes up for it.

For an extra $2,500, upgrading to the SEL trim will get you a wireless charging pad, dual-zone automatic climate control, synthetic leather seats with power adjustment and heating in the front, and a range of minor enhancements. Alternatively, the Santa Fe Hybrid SEL is just $500 more than the standard SEL, offering an eco-friendly option for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

If you’re willing to invest a bit more, the Santa Fe XRT at around $42,000 boasts rugged styling, a sunroof, and upgraded infotainment technology. However, for $45,000, the Limited trim offers even more luxurious touches such as leather seats, 20-inch alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel, and a surround-view camera system, making it a worthwhile upgrade for those seeking added comfort and convenience.

At the top of the lineup is the Santa Fe Calligraphy, priced at around $48,000. This model includes second-row captain’s chairs, black-finish 21-inch alloy wheels, nappa leather seats, and various trim upgrades both inside and out. With all-wheel drive, the price may exceed $50,000, but the hybrid version remains only $500 more, making it a compelling option for those looking for a premium driving experience without breaking the bank.

Overall, the Hyundai Santa Fe offers a well-rounded package that combines value, features, and a solid warranty to provide a compelling option in the midsize crossover segment. Whether you opt for the base model or go all-in on the top-tier trim, you’re sure to enjoy a comfortable and feature-rich driving experience in the Santa Fe.
