The 2025 Kia K4 is a compact sedan that replaces the Kia Forte and competes with other notable compact sedans such as the Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and Toyota Corolla. This fourth-generation model offers a roomy interior, a long warranty, and user-friendly technology, but its polarizing exterior design may not appeal to everyone. The K4 has a TCC Rating of 5.6 out of 10, making it a decent option in its class.

The new Kia K4 features a longer and wider body compared to its predecessor, providing more interior space for passengers. The design includes new headlights and running lights inspired by the electric EV9 crossover, giving the car a unique and modern look. The interior boasts a 30-inch digital display with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch center touchscreen, as well as a wireless phone charger and a spacious center console.

With ample legroom and headroom for four passengers, the K4 offers a comfortable ride for its occupants. The trunk space is average for its class, although the fastback shape limits the size of the trunk opening. The base model comes with a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission. While this powertrain may not be the most exciting in terms of performance, it gets the job done for daily driving.

For those looking for more power, the GT-Line Turbo model comes with a 1.6-liter turbo-4 engine that generates 190 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. This model also features an 8-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddles for a more engaging driving experience. Both GT-Line models have a multi-link independent suspension for improved handling and comfort on the road.

In terms of safety, the Kia K4 comes well-equipped with standard driver-assist features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, and active lane control. Optional safety features include highway driving assist systems, intersection assist, blind-spot cameras, and a surround-view camera system. Pricing for the 2025 Kia K4 starts at $23,145 for the base LX model and goes up to $29,245 for the GT-Line Turbo trim level. All models come with a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.

Overall, the 2025 Kia K4 offers a compelling package with its spacious interior, advanced technology, and solid safety features. While its design may not be to everyone’s taste, it is a worthy contender in the competitive compact sedan segment.
