The Lincoln Aviator is a luxurious three-row crossover SUV that fits perfectly between the smaller Nautilus and the larger Navigator in Lincoln’s lineup. It shares a platform with the Ford Explorer but offers a more refined cabin, advanced suspension, and a powerful standard powertrain. Competing with the likes of the Acura MDX and Audi Q7, the Aviator stands out for its combination of style, comfort, and performance.

For the 2025 model year, the Lincoln Aviator has received a refresh that elevates its overall appeal. With a cleaner exterior design and updated technology features, the Aviator now boasts a TCC Rating of 7.1 out of 10. The lineup consists of three trim levels: Premier, Reserve, and Black Label, catering to different preferences and budgets.

Visually, the Aviator remains muscular and imposing, with a prominent grille, sleek LED headlights, and optional 22-inch wheels. Inside, the cabin is adorned with large screens, including a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch touchscreen. The interior exudes luxury with leather and wood trims, although the larger touchscreen has replaced physical climate control buttons.

Under the hood, the Aviator is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine that delivers 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the Aviator offers rear-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option. Adaptive dampers come standard, with the option to upgrade to an air suspension for enhanced comfort.

Comfort has always been a strong suit for the Aviator, with plush front seats that offer heating, cooling, and optional massaging functions. The SUV can accommodate up to seven passengers, although most buyers will likely opt for the six-passenger configuration with second-row captain’s chairs. The third row is best suited for children due to limited space.

In terms of pricing, the 2025 Lincoln Aviator starts at $60,525, including a destination fee. Despite a price increase, the Aviator comes well-equipped with standard safety features like active lane control, surround-view camera, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitors. The infotainment system is powered by Google, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Amazon Alexa voice commands.

Overall, the 2025 Lincoln Aviator offers a compelling package of style, luxury, and technology. Whether cruising on the highway or navigating city streets, the Aviator delivers a refined and comfortable driving experience. Built alongside the Ford Explorer in Chicago, the Aviator is a standout option in the competitive luxury SUV segment.
