The Zeekr X for the 2025 model year has been launched in China with a significant price reduction of 25%. The starting price for this vehicle is now 149,900 yuan (equivalent to 21,050 USD). With the government’s purchase subsidy, the price further drops to 134,900 yuan (or 18,950 USD). This move is aimed at boosting the sales of the Zeekr X in the Chinese market, as the model has not performed as well as expected since its introduction in April 2023.

The 2025 Zeekr X retains its compact SUV design, with only minor updates such as a new black body color option and 18-inch rims. One interesting feature of this vehicle is the optional buttons instead of traditional door handles, although this is only available on the domestic variant. The interior of the Zeekr X offers two layouts for seating – either 4 (2+2) or 5 (2+3) seats. The center console is equipped with a 14.6-inch screen that can slide towards the front passenger side for convenience.

One of the highlights of the new Zeekr X is the introduction of a 49-kWh LFP battery option, providing power to the rear electric motor with 200 kW (equivalent to 268 hp). This setup enables the vehicle to accelerate from zero to a hundred in just 5.8 seconds, with a range of 420 km. The existing 66-kWh ternary NMC battery option remains available, offering either RWD with 200 kW or 4WD with 315 kW (or 422 hp). The range for the larger battery variant is between 512 to 560 km.

In terms of pricing, the Zeekr X now offers a new entry-level trim with the 49 kWh battery at 149,900 yuan (or 21,050 USD). Additionally, customers can benefit from gifts such as a gray body color (usually priced at 5,000 yuan) and a complimentary home charging station (valued at 2,200 yuan). Furthermore, a government purchase subsidy of 15,000 yuan brings the actual cost of the Zeekr X down to 134,900 yuan. Other trims and prices for the Zeekr X include the RWD 66 kWh 5 seats at 165,000 yuan, the 4WD 66 kWh 5 seats at 199,900 yuan, and the RWD 66 kWh 4 seats also at 199,900 yuan.

Overall, the 2025 Zeekr X aims to attract more customers with its updated features, battery options, and competitive pricing in the Chinese electric vehicle market.
