The upcoming 2025 Shanghai auto show is already generating buzz as organizers released the full booth map, just a week before the event kicks off. Scheduled to take place from April 23 to May 2 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the show is expected to host nearly 1,000 companies from 26 countries and regions, covering a total exhibition area of more than 360,000 square meters.
This year’s event will feature 13 indoor halls, with eight halls dedicated to showcasing passenger cars and four halls focusing on automotive technology and supply chain products. Additionally, there will be a media area designated in one of the halls.
Excitingly, some notable debuts are set to take place at the Shanghai auto show. Onvo and Firefly, two sub-brands of Nio, Xiaomi EV, Huawei’s HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) business, and BYD’s sub-brand Fang Cheng Bao will be making their first appearances at the event.
The Nio brand and Firefly will share a booth located at 7A16 in Hall 7.1H, placing them in close proximity to BMW, Great Wall Motor, Lotus, and Bentley. Meanwhile, Onvo will have its own booth at 6B03 in Hall 6.2H, situated across from Xiaomi EV’s booth at 6B02.
BYD Auto’s presence will be felt at booth 8A06 in Hall 8.1H, with the group’s sub-brands Denza, Yangwang, and Fang Cheng Bao located nearby at booths 8A01, 8A02, and 8A05, respectively. Other prominent exhibitors include Xpeng, Li Auto, Geely, Zeekr, Lynk & Co, Leapmotor, CATL, and more, each occupying designated spaces within the various halls.
Notably absent from the booth map is Tesla, which is expected to continue its trend of steering clear of major auto shows, as it has done in recent years.
The Shanghai auto show promises to be a platform for showcasing the latest innovations and developments in the automotive industry, with a diverse range of exhibitors set to captivate attendees with their cutting-edge technologies and products. Stay tuned for more updates as the event unfolds.
