Bentley has made a bold move by discontinuing its 12-cylinder W12 petrol engine in favor of transitioning towards an electrified future. This decision has sparked controversy among fans and enthusiasts of the luxury car brand. However, the brand has not completely abandoned its traditional roots, as seen in the latest model of the Bentley Bentayga Speed SUV.

The 2025 Bentley Bentayga Speed retains a powerful V8 engine, producing 478kW of power and 850Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, this SUV promises a thrilling driving experience. The addition of an optional Akrapovic exhaust system enhances the already epic sound of the engine, adding to the overall excitement of driving this vehicle.

One of the standout features of the Bentley Bentayga Speed is its luxurious interior. Bentley has focused on customization, offering a plethora of options for customers to personalize their vehicles. From unique inlays to high-quality materials, the interior of the Bentayga exudes opulence and sophistication. The infotainment system, while functional, can be laggy at times, which may be a point of improvement for future models.

In terms of driving dynamics, the Bentley Bentayga Speed impresses with its performance and handling. The SUV offers a good balance between comfort and sportiness, making it a versatile choice for drivers seeking both luxury and excitement. The Akrapovic exhaust system adds an extra level of engagement, especially in Sport mode where the vehicle truly comes alive.

Safety features in the Bentley Bentayga Speed include adaptive cruise control, Bentley Safeguard Plus, head-up display, night vision, and more. While the SUV has not been crash-tested by official authorities, its platform mate, the Audi Q7, holds a five-star safety rating.
