Leapmotor’s success was further highlighted by its achievement of profitability in the fourth quarter of 2024, surpassing its original target and becoming the second Chinese NEV startup to reach this milestone ahead of schedule. This financial success demonstrates the company’s strong position in the industry.
Expanding its global reach, Leapmotor participated in the 101st Brussels Motor Show on January 10, where it unveiled the extended-range electric vehicle (REEV) version of the C10 and initiated pre-orders. European customers can expect deliveries of the C10 REEV to commence in March 2025. Meanwhile, the T03 compact electric vehicle, introduced in Europe in September 2024, has already exceeded 200,000 units in global sales, showcasing strong consumer demand.
Introducing the C16 580 Long-Range Edition on January 6, Leapmotor enhanced its product lineup with a model featuring a 74.9 kWh battery pack and a range of up to 580 km on a single charge. Priced competitively at 172,800 yuan, the C16 580 aims to solidify the brand’s position in the competitive NEV market.
Furthermore, Leapmotor conducted rigorous winter testing for its upcoming B10 model in Heihe, subjecting the vehicle to extreme temperatures as low as -20 ℃ to -30 ℃. The tests focused on evaluating battery performance, powertrain stability, and safety on icy roads, preparing the B10 for its market debut in the first quarter of 2025.
