Stellantis Pro One, a division of Stellantis commercial vehicles, has recently inked a deal with IVECO, a brand under the Iveco Group, to supply two all-electric light commercial vehicles (LCVs) designed for the European market.
These electric vans will be produced at Stellantis Pro One’s manufacturing facilities located in Atessa, Italy, Gliwice, Poland, and Hordain, France. The mid-size and large van all-electric platforms offered by Stellantis Pro One will serve as the foundation for these two new LCVs, with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) range spanning from 2.8t to 4.25t.
Upon completion of production, Iveco Group will introduce these vehicles into the European market, including the UK, through its established sales and service channels. These new additions will complement IVECO’s existing LCV portfolio, which includes the eDaily model produced in Suzzara and electrified in Brescia, Italy.
The launch of these new models is projected for mid-2026, supported by a ten-year supply agreement between the two companies. By introducing these two IVECO vans, the brand aims to strengthen its lineup of battery electric offerings in the European market.
Commenting on the collaboration, Iveco Group Truck Business Unit president Luca Sra expressed excitement about adding these innovative battery electric vans to their light commercial vehicle range, enhancing competitiveness in the van segment. He highlighted the strategic partnership with Stellantis Pro One, leveraging their expertise and market presence to benefit European customers, especially those in the last-mile logistics sector.
Stellantis Enlarged Europe chief operating officer Jean Philippe Imparato also shared enthusiasm about the collaboration with IVECO, emphasizing Stellantis’ leadership in the European LCV market due to operational excellence, product quality, and expertise in battery drive technology that contributes to reducing emissions and protecting the environment.
In addition to this partnership, Stellantis’ Jeep brand is gearing up to commence production of the next-generation Jeep Compass in Italy, ahead of its European debut this spring.
As Stellantis and IVECO join forces to bring these all-electric LCVs to the market, the European automotive industry can anticipate a new wave of sustainable and efficient vehicles that cater to the evolving needs of businesses and consumers alike.
