BYD SEALION 07 DM-i: A Futuristic Plug-In Hybrid Electric SUV
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD has recently made waves with the inclusion of their SEALION 07 DM-i plug-in hybrid electric SUV in China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalogue.

The exterior design of the SEALION 07 DM-i draws inspiration from the Ocean X concept model, featuring a sleek and sporty aesthetic with a closed-off front grille and integrated LiDAR sensor for advanced autonomous driving capabilities.
The side profile showcases a fastback design with hidden door handles and dual five-spoke wheels, while the rear boasts a full-width taillight strip and updated illuminated logo technology.
Measuring 4,880mm in length, 1,920mm in width, and 1,940mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm, the SEALION 07 DM-i offers ample space for passengers and cargo.
Inside, the model is expected to feature a layout similar to the BYD Song L, including a full liquid-crystal dashboard and a large 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen with the DiLink 110 infotainment system for seamless connectivity and entertainment.
Powered by a 1.5T engine and an electric motor delivering a combined system power of 315 kW, the SEALION 07 DM-i is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate Blade Battery pack, CTB technology, and a DiSus-C intelligent body damping control system for a smooth and efficient driving experience.
