Volkswagen has officially announced the pricing for the redesigned 2025 Tiguan small crossover, a vehicle that is set to impress with its lighter weight and increased power. However, one notable change is the absence of the third-row seat option in this new model.

The base Tiguan S grade, with front-wheel drive, will start at $30,920 (including a $1,425 destination charge), which is slightly higher than the current model. This model comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and comfortable cloth upholstery.

For those looking for a bit more luxury, the Tiguan SE grade starts at $34,420 with destination included. This grade adds features such as 19-inch wheels, remote start, a power tailgate, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a power driver’s seat, and leatherette upholstery.

Moving up the ladder, the SEL R-Line Black grade, priced at $36,880, includes a sleek body kit, 20-inch wheels, a combination of dark and chrome exterior and interior trim, and a sunroof. The top-of-the-line SEL R-Line grade, starting at $41,180, offers similar visual enhancements along with a stunning 15.0-inch touchscreen, a premium 12-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, three-zone climate control, memory and massage functions for the front seats, power adjustment for the passenger seat, and luxurious leather upholstery.

Under the hood, all Tiguan models are powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine, similar to the previous generation, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. However, the new model boasts an increase of 17 horsepower, bringing the total to 201 hp. Additionally, Volkswagen claims that the redesigned Tiguan is 170 pounds lighter than its predecessor. All-wheel drive is available as an option on select grades, with an additional cost of $1,500 on the S and SEL R-Line Black grades, $980 on the SE grade, and standard on the SEL R-Line.

With its fresh design, enhanced features, and improved performance, the 2025 Volkswagen Tiguan is sure to make a statement in the small crossover segment. Whether you opt for the base model or choose to indulge in the top-tier trim, the Tiguan promises a refined driving experience with a touch of luxury.
