Media registration for the 21st Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai 2025) is set to kick off on March 21, allowing reporters to sign up online for the highly anticipated event.

The registration system will go live after 9:00 am Beijing time on March 21, with a deadline of 8:00 pm on April 20. This year’s Auto Shanghai will take place from April 23 to May 2 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, with press days scheduled for April 23-24.

All journalists looking to attend the event must register online with real-name authentication. The registration process will require the journalist’s passport number and mobile phone number, along with filling in and uploading necessary information. Once successfully registered, journalists can access the venue by scanning their faces during the designated entry period.

It’s important to note that on-site registration for media will not be accepted, so interested journalists must register online via the provided link: https://www.autoshanghai.org/media. With the rapid growth of new energy vehicles (NEVs) in China, the Shanghai auto show has become one of the most anticipated automotive industry events globally.

The previous Auto Shanghai event in 2023 featured a total of 1,413 vehicles on display, including 513 NEV exhibits. Among them, 93 vehicles made their world debut, with 28 coming from multinational companies. Additionally, 64 concept cars were showcased at the event, attracting over 13,000 global media workers and 906,000 visitors.

As the countdown to Auto Shanghai 2025 begins, journalists and automotive enthusiasts alike can look forward to an exciting showcase of the latest innovations and developments in the automotive industry. Make sure to mark your calendars for this must-attend event and register online to secure your spot at one of the world’s premier auto shows.
