The new Transporter lineup features a wide range of powertrains, including diesel combustion engines and pure electric variants. The e-Transporter and e-Caravelle offer electric options, with plans for a plug-in hybrid petrol powertrain in the future.
Volkswagen is also working on a smaller capacity battery for the e-Transporter to create a more affordable variant suitable for shorter duty cycles. This new model is expected to join the lineup later in 2025.

The new Transporter offers a comfortable driving experience, with an elevated position that provides a good view of the road.
