The new factory, constructed in just 11 months, spans an impressive 32,311 square meters and is now fully operational. This facility will specialize in the production of airbags and seat belts, allowing Autoliv to better serve the growing demands of local clients with efficient and reliable services.

In his address at the opening ceremony, Mr. Mikael Bratt, President and CEO of Autoliv, emphasized the strategic importance of the Guangzhou factory in the company’s long-term growth plans. He expressed, “We are committed to accelerating our presence in the Chinese market, continuously striving to meet the evolving needs of our clients, and setting new standards in this dynamic industry.”

As part of its dedication to creating a sustainable and modern manufacturing environment, Autoliv has implemented three key upgrades at the new facility. Firstly, the installation of an intelligent automated warehouse has significantly optimized storage space and logistics efficiency. Secondly, the factory has incorporated energy-efficient equipment, solar power systems, and advanced wastewater treatment solutions to minimize environmental impact and reduce energy consumption. Lastly, the office spaces have been designed to promote a comfortable and safe working environment, equipped with modern amenities to enhance employee productivity.
