The recently updated Volvo XC90 has made its debut in the Chinese market, offering five different variants with prices ranging from 638,900 yuan to 894,900 yuan. For a limited time, customers can take advantage of a special offer with prices between 479,000 yuan and 679,000 yuan.

The new XC90 retains its iconic design language with subtle yet refined updates as part of a mid-cycle refresh. The front fascia has been enhanced with a redesigned grille seamlessly integrated with updated “Thor’s Hammer” LED headlights, giving the SUV a more contemporary and dynamic appearance. The lower front bumper now features a stretched intake and vertically aligned side vents, adding to its sportier stance.

The side profile of the XC90 remains largely consistent with the previous model, but new trim accents along the lower body and dual-tone multi-spoke wheels provide a modern touch. The rear design maintains Volvo’s signature styling for strong visual recognition.

Inside the cabin, the XC90 has undergone a comprehensive update. The dashboard now features a larger 11.2-inch floating central touchscreen and a new three-spoke steering wheel. Physical buttons below the display offer easy access to commonly used functions. The air vents, secondary dashboard storage layout, and infotainment system have all been improved to enhance the user experience.

In terms of seating options, the updated XC90 now offers a new six-seat layout in addition to the existing five- and seven-seat configurations, featuring individual second-row seats for added comfort.

Under the hood, the all-new XC90 is available with a 2.0-liter turbocharged oil-fueled engine and a T8 plug-in hybrid electric powertrain. The oil-fueled variants come in B5 and B6 versions, with outputs of 184 kW and 220 kW respectively. The T8 PHEV offers a combined 335 kW and a battery-powered range of 84 kilometers under the CLTC standard.
