Baolong Automotive and JOYNEXT Form Strategic Alliance to Advance Smart Mobility Solutions

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 24, Baolong Automotive and JOYNEXT officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement at AUTO SHANGHAI 2025. The collaboration aims to accelerate the transformation of the intelligent vehicle industry and provide safer, smarter, and more personalized mobility experiences.

As part of the agreement, Baolong Automotive and JOYNEXT will concentrate on advancing technologies related to L2 to L4 assisted driving and smart cockpits. Through collaboration and leveraging their individual strengths, the two companies aim to achieve resource sharing and complementary capabilities to drive cross-domain applications of related technologies in vehicle-to-everything (V2X), low-altitude economy, and robotics.

JOYNEXT, a subsidiary of Joyson Electronics, has a global presence with operations in China, Germany, Poland, France, the United States, Japan, and other markets. With over 20 years of experience as a Tier-1 supplier to global OEMs, JOYNEXT maintains long-term partnerships with top automotive brands such as Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, NIO, and HiPhi. The company offers integrated hardware and software solutions in intelligent cockpits, smart connectivity, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and software engineering services, with its technologies deployed in more than 20 million vehicles worldwide. JOYNEXT operates seven R&D centers, three global manufacturing bases, and seven customer hubs, employing over 1,600 staff members globally.

Baolong Automotive is a leading provider of intelligent and lightweight automotive technology solutions, with a strong presence in China, North America, and Europe. The company boasts nine production campuses, 19 factories, 11 R&D centers, and nine nationally certified labs. With a workforce of over 7,500 employees worldwide, Baolong Automotive has established a comprehensive footprint in the intelligent driving sector. Its product portfolio includes 77GHz millimeter-wave radars, various high-definition cameras, and ultrasonic sensors, which are supplied to major automakers such as Chery, SAIC MOTOR Passenger Vehicle, Dongfeng Nissan, BYD, and Changan Automobile.
