Nissan Motor’s China Sales Reach 49,204 Vehicles in August 2024

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Nissan Motor recently announced its sales results for August 2024 in China, covering both passenger and light commercial vehicle segments, which came in at 49,204 vehicles.

In the past month, the Sino-Japanese joint venture, Dongfeng Nissan, which operates the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, posted sales of 46,479 vehicles.

Meanwhile, the light commercial vehicle segment, represented by Zhengzhou Nissan, sold 2,725 vehicles in August.

From January to August 2024, Nissan Motor’s cumulative sales in China, including both passenger and light commercial vehicles, amounted to 435,603 vehicles.

On August 16, Dongfeng Nissan and JD.com’s auto service platform JD Auto officially signed a strategic partnership agreement in areas such as official flagship stores, omni-channel vehicle sales, and car maintenance service networks, thereby creating a new model for automotive services.

Through this partnership, Dongfeng Nissan will utilize JD Auto’s industry-leading digital capabilities to develop a new online-to-offline retail model, offering users a seamless digital transaction experience and significantly enhancing terminal sales service capabilities.

This article provides an overview of Nissan Motor’s sales performance in China for August 2024. The company reported a total of 49,204 vehicles sold in the Chinese market, encompassing both passenger and light commercial vehicle segments.

Dongfeng Nissan, a Sino-Japanese joint venture operating the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands, accounted for the majority of sales with 46,479 vehicles. Additionally, Zhengzhou Nissan, representing the light commercial vehicle segment, sold 2,725 vehicles in August.

Cumulatively, from January to August 2024, Nissan Motor’s total sales in China reached 435,603 vehicles. The company also announced a strategic partnership with JD.com’s auto service platform, JD Auto, to enhance its digital capabilities and improve the overall customer experience.
