In the first seven months of this year, Dongfeng Motor’s cumulative sales summed up to 1,074,467 vehicles, which was 3.1% less than the year-ago period.

Additionally, Dongfeng Motor’s high-end electric off-roader brand MHERO sold 205 vehicles in the past month.

Despite the challenges faced by Dongfeng Motor Group in July 2024, the company continues to make strides in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector. While overall vehicle sales saw a decline compared to the previous year, NEV sales have shown a significant increase.

The company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation is reflected in the success of brands like VOYAH and eπ, which have seen impressive growth in their sales figures. The premium new energy vehicle brand, VOYAH, in particular, has experienced a substantial spike in monthly sales, showcasing the increasing demand for eco-friendly transportation options.
