Chery’s Ambitious Plans for Global Expansion

Located in the bustling city of Wuhu, just a two-hour drive from Shanghai, Chery’s headquarters buzz with activity as prototypes of their latest vehicles navigate the streets connecting the company’s research and development facilities.

During a recent visit, our team came across a prototype vehicle sporting a clever disguise – a Lepas model with Audi’s iconic four rings crudely drawn on tape covering the badge. While it was meant as a lighthearted joke, it also served as a testament to Chery’s unwavering confidence in their ability to launch a new export brand on a global scale, including in the competitive UK market, within a remarkably short timeframe.

Chery’s bold vision involves establishing this new brand as a formidable player in the automotive industry, challenging established competitors with innovative designs and cutting-edge technology.
