Hyundai has just released their new electric SUV, the IONIQ 9, and it’s proving to be more affordable than expected. With a starting price of over $60,500, Hyundai is currently offering some great deals on leasing the IONIQ 9, making it a better deal than the Kia EV9 with discounts of up to $13,000.

The current lease offer for the 2026 Hyundai IONIQ 9 is just $419 per month for 36 months with $4,999 due at signing, bringing the total to $558 per month. This is even cheaper than Kia’s three-row electric SUV, which is listed at $429 per month with similar terms.

Hyundai is able to offer these lower prices thanks to a generous $13,000 lease cash offer, while Kia is only offering $7,500. This makes the IONIQ 9 a more attractive option for those looking for an affordable electric SUV.

For those interested in upgrading to the AWD SE or SEL trims, the monthly lease prices are just $449 and $499 respectively, with the same $4,999 due at signing. Alternatively, you can opt for 1.99% APR financing for up to 60 months on all 2026 IONIQ 9 trims.

The IONIQ 9 offers a range of 335 miles and starts at $60,555 for the RWD S model. The AWD SE and SEL models offer 320 miles of range and start at $64,365 and $67,920 respectively. The interior of the electric SUV boasts up to 2,462 liters of cargo space, even more than the Ford Explorer.

In terms of technology, the IONIQ 9 is loaded with Hyundai’s latest features, including a dual 12.3″ driver cluster and infotainment screens as part of a curved panoramic display. It also features a built-in NACS port, allowing you to use Tesla Superchargers.

If you’re looking for something a bit smaller, the 2025 IONIQ 5 is also available with leases starting at just $179 per month. Hyundai is also offering a complimentary ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 charger with the purchase of any new 2026 IONIQ 9 or 2025 IONIQ 5.

Overall, Hyundai’s IONIQ lineup is proving to be a great option for those in the market for an electric vehicle. With competitive pricing, impressive range, and a range of features, the IONIQ 9 and IONIQ 5 are worth considering for your next electric vehicle purchase.
