Cadillac recently made a significant mark in the electric vehicle market with the release of the ultra-luxury Celestiq sedan. Priced at around $350,000, the Celestiq is not just a car, but a statement of American luxury and innovation. Hand-built at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt, each Celestiq model offers a highly personalized experience for customers.

During a private event at GM’s Global Tech Center in Warren, Michigan, Cadillac delivered the first Celestiq EV models to customers, signaling the brand’s resurgence as the “Standard of the World.” The ultra-luxury electric sedan boasts a dual-motor AWD powertrain with 655 horsepower and 646 lb-ft of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. With a massive 111 kWh battery, the Celestiq has an impressive range of 303 miles.

Inside the Celestiq, drivers will find a 55″ advanced interactive display that spans the entire dashboard, along with five standard HD interactive displays and a 38-speaker AKG audio system. Other luxurious features include a panoramic Smart Glass Roof with four independently controlled sections and a four-zone microclimate system called Climatesense.

Each Celestiq is built to order at GM’s new Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan, with prices starting in the mid-$300,000 range. For more information and inquiries, interested buyers can visit Cadillac’s website.

Cadillac’s foray into the electric vehicle market doesn’t stop at the Celestiq. With a lineup of electric SUVs like the Optiq, Lyriq, Vistiq, and Escalade IQ, Cadillac aims to become the best-selling luxury EV brand in the US. The upcoming 2026 Cadillac Optiq will even feature a built-in NACS port, allowing access to Tesla’s Supercharger network.

While the Celestiq may help re-establish Cadillac as a leader in luxury and innovation, it’s the more accessible models like the Optiq, Lyriq, Vistiq, and Escalade IQ that will drive growth in the competitive luxury EV market. With over 75% of Optiq buyers being new to Cadillac, the brand has already seen success in the electric vehicle market.
