Experience the Thrill of Driving the Purespeed

Despite the long nose and wide footprint, the Purespeed never feels unwieldy. The steering is smooth and precise, with rear-wheel steering helping to navigate tight bends effortlessly.

On challenging Mille Miglia back roads, the Purespeed displays real fluidity in its actions. The chassis remains composed through sudden camber shifts and surface changes, with strong traction and grip providing a sense of stability. Its balance, combined with a slightly lower center of gravity, makes it feel agile and lighter than its 1970kg weight.

Enhancing its performance is a carbonfibre active aero element in the underbody that responds to AMG drive modes. This element lowers by 40mm at speed, creating a Venturi effect to improve steering response and stability. Paired with underbody extensions from the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro and a front-axle lift system, the Purespeed is well-equipped to handle various road conditions.

The adaptive AMG Ride Control suspension, with double wishbones at the front and multi-links at the rear, offers a range of driving experiences from Comfort to Race mode. Each mode provides a unique feel in throttle response, steering weight, gearbox sharpness, and exhaust tuning, allowing for a customizable driving experience.

Despite its race car aesthetics, the Purespeed surprises with its suppleness in its softest setting. In Comfort mode, it glides over rough surfaces with ease but can be stiffened for a more dynamic ride when desired.

For those seeking a more exhilarating experience, the electronic safety net can be loosened with a simple adjustment on the steering wheel. The Purespeed, capable of accelerating to 62mph in 3.6 seconds and reaching a top speed of 196mph, offers a thrilling and responsive driving experience without being intimidating.
