Dongfeng Motor Expands Presence in Kazakhstan with New Dealership Opening

Dongfeng Motor recently celebrated the grand opening of its new dealership in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with a special ceremony that included the delivery of vehicles to key customers. Among the featured products were the DONGFENG GXKL tractor and the KC dump truck, showcasing the company’s popular offerings in the local market.

The event marked the beginning of Dongfeng Motor’s significant investments in human resources, dealership networks, and franchise operations in Kazakhstan. The company has set ambitious goals to achieve a 20% market share in the country’s commercial vehicle sector within the next three years, with a strong focus on tractor units.

In addition to commercial vehicles, Dongfeng Passenger Vehicle Company, which includes the AEOLUS brand, and the premium new energy vehicle brand VOYAH, will tailor their marketing strategies to meet the demands of the Central Asian market. By 2026, VOYAH plans to establish a strong presence in Central Asia, promoting the development of new energy vehicles and providing high-quality products and services to consumers.

As a supporter of the Belt and Road Initiative, Dongfeng Motor is dedicated to international development and strengthening cooperation with Central Asian regions for mutual growth. At the recent 8th China-Eurasia Expo, the company showcased a range of commercial and passenger vehicle models, highlighting its comprehensive capabilities and commitment to expanding international business partnerships.

During the expo, Dongfeng Motor secured five overseas and two domestic bulk order contracts with dealers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Mongolia, totaling over 1,800 vehicles. The company’s vehicle exports to Central Asia and other countries have seen a significant 71% year-on-year increase from January to May this year.
