Geely Automobile Sets New Sales Records in H1 2025
Geely Automobile Holdings Limited has recently announced its sales results for the first half of 2025, showcasing impressive growth and achieving new company milestones. The company reported a total of 1,409,180 vehicles sold in the first six months of the year, marking a significant 47% increase compared to the previous year and setting a new record for semi-annual sales volume.
A noteworthy highlight of Geely Automobile’s performance in H1 2025 is the strong contribution from new energy vehicles (NEVs). Models from Geely, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr brands collectively accounted for 725,151 units sold, representing a remarkable 126% surge from the same period last year. The NEV penetration rate exceeded 52%, showcasing Geely’s substantial progress in transitioning towards electrification.
In June alone, Geely Automobile achieved impressive sales figures, with 236,036 passenger vehicles sold, marking a 42% year-on-year increase. This also marked the tenth consecutive month of monthly sales exceeding 200,000 units. NEV sales in June reached 122,367 units, showcasing an 86% growth compared to the previous year and continuing to drive the company’s overall volume expansion.
Building on its strong performance in the first half of the year, Geely Automobile has raised its full-year 2025 sales target from 2.71 million to 3 million units, reflecting an approximate 11% increase. The company’s decision to revise the sales target upward is fueled by confidence in market momentum and underscores its growing competitiveness in terms of product strength, brand recognition, and distribution capabilities.
Geely Auto Group’s success can be attributed to its multi-brand synergy strategy and accelerated rollout of NEV products. With brands like Galaxy, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co gaining traction in both domestic and international markets, the company is poised to deliver high-quality breakthroughs in the automotive industry.
Looking ahead to the rest of 2025, Geely Auto Group has plans to launch nine all-new NEV models. The Galaxy brand will introduce four new models, including the recently launched Xingyao 8 and a mainstream midsize PHEV sedan. Additionally, Galaxy will unveil its fifth-generation ultra-flexible hybrid platform in the fourth quarter, offering both sedan and SUV options that can run on methanol, electricity, and gasoline.
Zeekr and Lynk & Co will also contribute to the lineup with three and two new vehicle models respectively. Zeekr’s upcoming launches include the Zeekr 9X and a large-sized luxury SUV, while Lynk & Co is set to release the Lynk & Co 900 and a midsize EM-P sedan.
In conclusion, Geely Automobile’s stellar performance in H1 2025 underscores its position as a key player in the automotive industry, with a strong focus on innovation, electrification, and market expansion. With a robust lineup of new models and a commitment to delivering high-quality vehicles, the company is well-positioned for continued success in the coming years.
