Leapmotor, a leading new energy vehicle (NEV) maker, has been making waves in the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of a facelifted model and a new model this month. The company has already announced the official launch dates for the updated C11 SUV and the new B01 sedan.

The updated C11 SUV, which was first introduced on September 29, 2021, has seen over 251,862 units delivered as of the end of May. The updated model, which is set to be officially launched on July 10, offers improved specifications and features compared to its predecessor. It comes in both extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants, with a starting price of RMB 158,800 ($22,130). The C11 BEV is built on an 800V high-voltage platform and boasts a CLTC range of 640 kilometers.

On the other hand, the new B01 sedan is the second model in Leapmotor’s B series, following the launch of the B10 SUV in April. The B01 made its debut at the 2025 Shanghai auto show in April and is set to hit the market in late July. With dimensions of 4,770 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,490 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, the B01 offers a starting price of RMB 105,800.

In addition to the updated C11 and the new B01, Leapmotor has also launched several new models this year, including the B10 compact SUV, the updated C10 SUV, and the updated C16 SUV. The company currently offers a range of models in China, including the T03, B10, C01, C10, C11, and C16, with most models available in both BEV and EREV variants.

With record-breaking sales of 48,006 vehicles in June, Leapmotor is making significant strides in the competitive Chinese EV market. The company reported a net loss of RMB 130 million for the first quarter, representing a year-on-year decrease of 87.17 percent.

As Leapmotor continues to expand its product lineup and push the boundaries of innovation in the NEV industry, the launch of the updated C11 and the new B01 is set to further solidify its position as a key player in the Chinese EV market.
