Li Auto, a leading electric vehicle manufacturer, recently announced its June delivery figures, with a total of 36,279 vehicles delivered. The breakdown of deliveries for each model was not initially disclosed by the company, but data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) has shed light on the performance of Li Auto’s different models.

Li Auto currently offers five models in its lineup, including the Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and Li Mega. The Li L series consists of extended-range SUVs, while the Li Mega is a pure electric MPV. Among these models, the Li L6 emerged as the top-selling model in June, with 16,471 units delivered. Despite a slight decrease compared to previous months, the Li L6 remains popular due to its affordability, with a starting price of RMB 249,800 ($34,790). This model accounted for 45.40 percent of Li Auto’s total deliveries in June.

The Li L7, another SUV model, delivered 8,273 units in June, contributing 22.80 percent of the total deliveries. The Li L8 and Li L9 models also saw respectable delivery numbers, with 4,338 and 4,893 units respectively.

Interestingly, the Li Mega, the only MPV in Li Auto’s lineup, delivered 2,304 units in June, marking a significant increase compared to previous months. This model accounted for 6.35 percent of the total deliveries and experienced a year-on-year increase of 291.17 percent.

In the first half of the year, the Li L6 maintained its lead as the best-selling model, with a total of 96,354 units delivered. The Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and Li Mega also contributed significantly to Li Auto’s overall delivery numbers during this period.

Notably, Li Auto introduced updated versions of the Li Mega and L-series EREVs in April and May, respectively. The company has been focusing on expanding its product offerings and improving the performance of its existing models to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in the market.

Looking ahead, Li Auto aims to continue its momentum in the electric vehicle market with the upcoming launch of the Li i8, scheduled for July 29. The company’s founder, Li Xiang, has expressed confidence that the Li i8 will redefine the pure electric SUV segment and further solidify Li Auto’s position as a key player in the industry.

With a strong product lineup and a commitment to innovation, Li Auto is poised to make significant strides in the electric vehicle market and meet the evolving needs of consumers seeking sustainable transportation options.
