Established in August 2023, ROBOTERA is a leading player in the field of embodied intelligence, with Tsinghua University as one of its stakeholders. The company is focused on developing universal intelligent agents for various industries and households, utilizing an integrated software-hardware approach.

The recent funding will be utilized to further enhance research and development in humanoid robot hardware and software technologies, as well as to expedite mass production to drive innovation in the “model-body-scenario data” closed-loop system.

ROBOTERA is dedicated to advancing both its model and hardware layers. On the model side, the company aims to enable robots to perceive and act autonomously, similar to humans. The ERA-42 VLA model integrates visual understanding, generation, prediction, and action into a single end-to-end model.

In terms of hardware development, ROBOTERA is focused on creating “strong and flexible human-like bodies” for its robots. The company’s self-developed humanoid robots are designed to closely mimic human physical abilities, serving as a universal interface for interaction with the physical world.

ROBOTERA has already achieved significant milestones, with over 200 units delivered this year and hundreds more in production. The company’s international clientele accounts for over 50% of its orders, establishing ROBOTERA as a key player in exporting embodied intelligence technology.

Moreover, ROBOTERA has made strides in implementing its technology in industrial logistics and retail chains. The company has introduced several key products, including the wheeled humanoid robot Q5 for the service industry, the bipedal robot SRAR 1 for industrial applications, and the dexterous robotic hand XHAND1. The ERA-42 model allows for agile manipulation of the robot’s entire body.
