Mazda Motor Europe has recently unveiled the third-generation Mazda CX-5, a crossover SUV that has quickly become the brand’s best-selling model since its debut in 2012. The all-new Mazda CX-5 is scheduled to launch in Europe by the end of the year, with other markets set to follow suit in 2026.
The company has stated that the new model aims to provide “New Generation Emotional Daily Comfort” by building on its signature “Soul of Motion” design and “Jinba-Ittai” driving experience. With its sporty and urban design, engaging driving dynamics, and well-crafted interior, the Mazda CX-5 has garnered praise since its introduction.
Having achieved cumulative global sales of over 4.5 million units in more than 100 nations and regions, the CX-5 is designed to offer both usability and comfort. The vehicle features an all-new “Human Machine Interface”, connectivity with new apps, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance the overall driving experience.
Mazda Europe’s latest offering will be powered by a 2.5-liter direct-injection petrol engine, paired with the Mazda M Hybrid system for improved fuel economy and smoother driving. This mild hybrid system will be available in the new CX-5 for markets such as Japan and Europe, with performance values tailored to suit each region.
The European model of the CX-5 boasts dimensions of 4,690mm in length, 1,860mm in width, and 1,695mm in height, with a seating capacity for five passengers.
