The Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake EV is making waves as the first electric estate vehicle from the luxury automaker. With a focus on spaciousness, capability, and cutting-edge technology, this new electric wagon is set to impress.

Introduced as the second EV in Mercedes’ new entry-level family of vehicles, the CLA Shooting Brake combines the best features of the new CLA with added space and versatility. Measuring 4,723 mm in length, the electric version offers a roomier interior than its predecessor. The extended wheelbase of 2,790 mm provides increased headroom and legroom for both front and rear passengers.

In terms of storage space, the new CLA Shooting Brake offers 455 L of boot space, along with an extra 101 L of storage in the Frunk. With all seats folded, the total storage capacity reaches 1,290 L. Roof rails come standard, allowing for easy transportation of items like surfboards or bicycles with a 75 kg load capacity.

Inside, the CLA Shooting Brake features the latest Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) with a 14″ infotainment screen and a 10.25″ driver display. An optional 14″ passenger screen is available, or a trim piece with star-pattern graphics can replace it. Powered by the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture and an 85 kWh battery, this electric estate offers an impressive WLTP range of up to 473 miles.

Available in single and dual-motor powertrains, the base CLA 250+ Shooting Brake boasts 268 hp and a range of up to 473 miles, while the dual-motor CLA 350 4MATIC Shooting Brake delivers 349 hp and a range of up to 454 miles. Thanks to its 800V architecture, the CLA Shooting Brake can add 193 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging.

Stay tuned for more updates on Mercedes-Benz’s upcoming lineup, including two new SUVs.

Overall, the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake EV is a game-changer in the electric vehicle market, offering a perfect blend of luxury, performance, and sustainability. With its impressive range, spacious interior, and advanced technology, this electric estate is sure to turn heads on the road.
