Inmotion has recently introduced its newest electric scooter, the Jet, which is designed to offer a combination of speed and practicality for commuters. With a top speed of 50 mph and dual 1,200W motors peaking at 2,300W, the Jet is positioned as one of the most high-performance electric scooters in the $2,000 price range.

The scooter is powered by a built-in 72V 25Ah lithium-ion battery, providing a claimed range of up to 56 miles on a single charge. Despite the large 1.8 kWh battery, the scooter takes around 9 to 10 hours to fully charge. The Jet is equipped with dual hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power, along with an 11-inch tubeless tire setup and a full suspension design for improved riding comfort.

A 4.3-inch color touchscreen display mounted on the handlebars serves as the rider’s control center, showing speed, battery status, and ride modes. The scooter also features built-in turn signals, brake lights, and a headlight for increased visibility on the road. The foldable aluminum frame allows for easy storage in a car trunk, although the scooter weighs 90 pounds, making it a bit challenging to lift.

The Inmotion Jet is IPX6 water-resistant and can support riders up to 330 pounds. Priced at $2,299, the Jet is targeted towards riders seeking a balance between performance and commuter-friendly features. While the scooter offers impressive speed and power, riders are advised to prioritize safety by wearing appropriate protective gear and adhering to local regulations regarding electric scooter usage.

Overall, the Inmotion Jet combines performance and practicality, making it a suitable option for riders who value speed and functionality in their daily commute. It strikes a balance between thrill-seeking and everyday usability, with thoughtful features like adjustable suspension and a bright display enhancing the riding experience. Riders should exercise caution and responsibility when using the scooter, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience on the road.
