Geely Auto (HKG: 0175) and Chinese AI startup StepFun recently introduced the next-generation Agent OS intelligent cockpit at the 2025 World AI Conference in Shanghai. This innovative technology is being hailed as the industry’s first AI-powered car cockpit, setting a new standard for automotive innovation.

The Agent OS is built on StepFun’s advanced Step-Audio end-to-end voice large language model, which enables a more natural and human-like interaction experience for drivers and passengers. This cutting-edge system can accurately detect and understand the user’s emotions, allowing for more personalized and engaging conversations within the vehicle.

One of the key features of the Agent OS is its memory capabilities, which enable it to remember user preferences, gender, age, and other personalized information. This ensures that the responses and interactions are tailored to each individual, creating a unique and personalized experience for every user.

Geely’s sub-brand, Geely Galaxy, will be the first to integrate the Agent OS into its new hybrid SUV, the M9. This marks a significant milestone in the automotive industry, as it represents the first implementation of an end-to-end voice large language model in a mass-produced vehicle.

The collaboration between Geely and StepFun showcases the power of AI technology in revolutionizing the automotive industry. By combining advanced AI capabilities with innovative design and engineering, the Agent OS is poised to redefine the driving experience for consumers around the world.
