Chery Group posts 14.7% YoY rise in July sales with strong NEV, export growth

Chery Group Continues Sales Surge in July

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chery Group reported a strong performance in July, with total vehicle sales reaching 224,439 units, marking a 14.7% increase compared to the same period last year. Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. contributed 210,066 units to this figure, representing a 13% year-on-year growth.

The company’s new energy vehicle (NEV) sales saw a significant increase of 44.1% year-on-year, reaching 65,357 units in July. Additionally, exports also showed robust growth, rising by 31.9% to 119,090 units, solidifying Chery Group’s position as a leader in China’s auto export market.

For the first seven months of 2025, Chery Group achieved record-breaking sales of 1,484,563 vehicles, a 14.5% increase from the previous year. NEV sales for the period surged by 87.7% to 424,737 units, while exports reached 669,360 units.

The company’s global user base surpassed 17.18 million as of July 2025, with over 5.17 million customers located overseas.

Breaking down the sales by brand, CHERY brand sold 143,965 units in July (881,135 units year-to-date), EXEED sold 6,822 (69,490 units YTD), JETOUR moved 49,445 (348,813 units YTD), and iCAR sold 6,566 (51,076 units YTD).

JETOUR and iCAR experienced the highest growth rates within the group, with increases of 31.8% and 51.1% year-on-year, respectively, during the January to July period.

In addition to the successful sales performance, Chery Group introduced two new key products in July. The Fulwin A9L made its debut in the global market, attracting over 50,000 orders within the first 24 hours. The retro-styled iCAR V23 also garnered attention for its appeal to younger consumers looking for personalized vehicles.
