Zero Motorcycles has recently started delivering their new Zero XE and Zero XB electric motorcycles to customers, following the commencement of production back in June. The Zero XB, part of the “all-terrain, all-electric” X line, comes with a price tag below $5,000, specifically retailing at $4,395. Weighing in at 139 pounds, the Zero XB feels incredibly light while riding and is easy to maneuver, making it a breeze to lift into a vehicle without the need for a ramp.

The Zero XB boasts a top speed of 50 mph, providing ample propulsion for a thrilling ride, especially off-road. Its fully adjustable suspension system seamlessly transitions from paved streets to dirt roads and nature trails, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for riders.

During a test ride, the bike performed admirably on all types of terrain. Starting in eco mode to ease into the ride, switching to standard mode for a bit more excitement, and eventually exploring sport mode for an extra kick of power. The bike’s suspension system handled rough terrains like tree roots and rocks with ease, offering a smooth and comfortable ride both on the street and on the trail.

The Zero XB features a compact screen that displays essential information such as charge level, time of day, speed, riding mode, trip and total mileage odometers, and more. The absence of engine noise and heat sets the Zero XB apart from traditional motorcycles, providing a quieter and cooler riding experience.

If you’re interested in test riding a Zero XB or XE, be sure to gear up and experience the thrill firsthand. In other news, Zero Motorcycles recently clinched third place at the Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro motorcycle competition, with rider Dustin Foudray securing the spot on a Zero XE in the eMoto Expert class competition.
