Ford hints something big is coming after wiping its entire Instagram

Ford has been making some mysterious moves lately, leaving fans and industry insiders speculating about what the American automaker has up its sleeve. With the recent clearing of its entire Instagram page, Ford has sparked rumors of a major rebranding effort. Could this mean we are finally getting the electric Ford Bronco we’ve all been waiting for?

The Bronco has long been a fan favorite and a top-selling model for Ford, so the idea of an electric version is certainly enticing. While Ford has not confirmed any specific details about the changes to its social media accounts, the cryptic message left on its Instagram page has left many wondering what the company has in store.

Speculation on social media suggests that Ford may be gearing up for a major rebrand that could involve a new look for some of its iconic models, including the Bronco, Mustang, and F-150 Lightning. The recent launch of Ford’s first global campaign in over 15 years, titled “Ready Set Ford,” adds fuel to the speculation. The campaign is said to mark a shift in Ford’s approach, focusing on customer lifestyles rather than just nameplates.

In addition to the campaign, Ford recently introduced the 2026 F-150 Lightning STX variant, offering added driving range and off-road capability at the same starting price as the current model. While Ford has faced delays in some of its EV initiatives, the company is placing its bets on its new low-cost platform for the future.

The Ford Universal EV Platform is expected to revolutionize the electric vehicle market, offering more affordable and efficient options for consumers. Led by former Tesla engineer Alan Clarke and a team of industry experts, Ford’s California-based team is working on a midsize electric pickup expected to debut in 2027 with a starting price of around $30,000. The platform is designed to accommodate a range of vehicles, from trucks to sedans.
