How the Scout buying and ownership experience will work

Scout Motors is set to revolutionize the automotive industry with the upcoming release of the Scout Terra pickup and Traveler SUV. These electric vehicles will be available for purchase through a cutting-edge app, following the direct sales model popularized by Tesla. Customers can already secure their spot by placing a $100 deposit on the Scout Motors website.

One of the key features of Scout Motors’ approach is the elimination of haggling. Customers will be presented with a transparent, listed price for their vehicle, making the purchasing process straightforward and stress-free. Test drives can be scheduled at a Scout facility, where potential buyers can experience the performance and features of the Terra pickup and Traveler SUV firsthand.

To streamline the ownership experience, Scout Motors has developed a mobile app that will serve as a digital ecosystem for customers. From ordering accessories to scheduling service appointments, the app will be a one-stop shop for all things related to owning a Scout vehicle. Customers can even use AI chat functionality for vehicle diagnostics, with the option to escalate to a live chat with a service representative if needed.

Service for Scout vehicles will be available at Scout Workshops located within 200 miles of 85% of owners. For those who live further away, mobile service units will be deployed to provide convenient maintenance and repairs. Every Scout vehicle will come with comprehensive warranties, including coverage for the electric drivetrain and battery.

In addition to sales and service facilities, Scout Motors plans to open Scout Studios and Scout Experience Centers in select markets. These locations will offer sales support and off-road driving experiences, providing customers with a unique opportunity to engage with the Scout brand. The expansion of Scout Motors’ presence is projected to reach 100 rooftops by 2032, ensuring widespread access to their innovative vehicles and services.

With a focus on customer convenience, transparency, and cutting-edge technology, Scout Motors is poised to redefine the car-buying and ownership experience. Stay tuned for the official launch of the Scout Terra pickup and Traveler SUV in 2027, setting a new standard for electric vehicles in the automotive market.
