The 2025 Ford Expedition has undergone a major redesign, offering a new platform, advanced technology, and a new off-road model called the Tremor. However, these updates come with a significant increase in price compared to the previous model year.

The base Active trim level now starts at $63,695, which is a $6,070 increase over the 2024 model. This price includes a $1,995 destination charge that remains unchanged from the previous year. The Active trim comes equipped with a 24-inch panoramic display, a 13.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a new split tailgate feature.

Stepping up to the Platinum trim, priced at $76,425, adds features such as Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free highway-driving system, power-adjustable pedals with memory settings, and a premium 10-speaker B&O audio system.

For those looking for off-road capabilities, the Expedition Tremor starts at $83,025 with destination included. This model comes standard with four-wheel drive, an electronic locking rear differential, 33-inch all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels, heated and ventilated front seats with leather upholstery, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and a power-reclining third row.

At the top of the range is the King Ranch trim, priced at $85,650, featuring unique interior trim with a Southwestern theme and 22-inch wheels.

In addition to the standard-wheelbase Expedition, Ford offers a stretched Expedition Max body style for an additional $3,000, excluding the Tremor grade. The Expedition comes with three rows of seats and can accommodate seven or eight passengers, depending on the choice of second-row seating.

Under the hood, the 2025 Expedition is powered by a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 engine, producing either 400 hp or 440 hp. A 10-speed automatic transmission is standard across all trim levels. The Expedition Active comes with rear-wheel drive as standard, with the option for a full-time four-wheel drive system on higher trims.
