The new Porsche 911 Carrera T has been unveiled as the latest addition to the iconic sports car lineup. Priced at £111,300, this model is positioned as the most affordable driver-focused version of the Porsche 911 range. It comes exclusively with a six-speed manual gearbox and incorporates various weight-saving measures, such as lightweight windows and reduced sound insulation. As a result, the Carrera T is 40kg lighter than the base-model 911 Carrera, weighing in at 1478kg.

Under the hood, the Carrera T boasts the same twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre flat six engine as its counterpart, delivering 389bhp and 332lb ft of torque. This powertrain enables a swift 0-62mph sprint time of 4.5 seconds. Additionally, the new Carrera T features a quicker steering ratio and four-wheel steering as standard, enhancing its agility on the road. The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) system, which lowers the car by 10mm compared to standard springs, is also included as standard equipment.

Visually, the Carrera T stands out with Carrera S lightweight wheels, a GTS rear spoiler, and unique shift-pattern stickers on the rear side windows. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a walnut-trimmed short-throw gear lever, a heated GT sports steering wheel, and four-way-adjustable leather seats. Buyers have the option to upgrade to 18-way-adjustable seats or lightweight bucket seats for added customization.

The Carrera T is available in both coupé and Cabriolet variants, with the convertible version priced at £121,300 – £10,000 more than the coupé. Despite the slight difference in price, both models offer exhilarating performance and a thrilling driving experience. With its blend of performance enhancements and distinctive design elements, the Porsche 911 Carrera T is sure to appeal to enthusiasts seeking a dynamic and engaging sports car.
