Introducing the Zeekr 007 Station Wagon: A Sneak Peek Before the 2025 Launch
The highly anticipated Zeekr 007 station wagon, codenamed CC1E, has been spotted in China ahead of its scheduled launch in 2025. This upcoming model from Zeekr, a Geely-backed brand founded in 2021, is set to rival the Nio ET5 Touring and will be based on the SEA architecture with an 800 V high-voltage system.
The Zeekr 007 station wagon is part of Zeekr’s expanding model line, which currently includes six cars. Deutsche Bank recently exposed Zeekr’s upcoming model line, revealing plans to launch five more models in China by 2026. One of these models is the Zeekr 007 station wagon, which has already been spotted in China.
Design and Features of the Zeekr 007 Station Wagon
The Zeekr 007 station wagon features a distinct design with a signature glass line, 19-inch four-spoke rims, and Michelin tires. The sloped roofline, slanted D-pillars, and thin taillight strips give the CC1E a sleek and sporty look. Unofficial render images by Chinese designer Sugar Design showcase the station wagon’s modern design language, inspired by Zeekr’s Hidden Energy design.
While specific details about the Zeekr 007 station wagon’s specs are still unknown, it is expected to share dimensions with the 007 sedan. The powertrain options may include RWD for 310 kW (415 hp) and 4WD for 475 kW (636 hp), with battery choices between a 75 kWh LFP and a 100 kWh ternary NMC pack.
Launch Plans and Market Positioning
The exact launch date of the Zeekr 007 station wagon is yet to be announced, but road tests have already begun. The CC1E is likely to debut in China in the first half of 2025, with a pre-production model expected to be unveiled soon.
Station wagons are gaining popularity in China, with Zeekr looking to capitalize on this trend. The European market is also a target for Zeekr, as station wagons are popular in Europe. This move will enhance Zeekr’s market positioning and expand its presence in overseas markets.
With impressive sales figures in China, Zeekr is on track for success. In October 2024 alone, the brand sold 25,049 cars, bringing its total sales for the year to 167,922 units. Zeekr has already achieved 73% of its sales target for the year, indicating strong growth and market demand for its innovative electric vehicles.
