2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Review: Prices, Specs, and Photos

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is a luxurious electric vehicle that comes with a hefty price tag. Despite its cost, the standard features of this vehicle are impressive, earning it an 8 out of 10 on our scale. The EQS SUV offers a wide range of features, options, and a high-tech infotainment system that sets it apart from other electric vehicles on the market.

One downside of the EQS SUV is its warranty, which only covers 4 years or 50,000 miles and does not include maintenance. However, the battery warranty is more generous, covering 10 years or 155,000 miles.

In terms of pricing, expect to pay at least $106,000 for the EQS SUV 450+ when the 2025 model-year pricing is released. This price includes standard leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats that are heated and cooled, and a dashboard with an impressive 56 inches of screens including the instrument cluster, central infotainment touchscreen, and a passenger screen. Additionally, the vehicle comes equipped with a big sunroof and 21-inch alloy wheels.

One standout feature of the EQS SUV is the Hyperscreen system, which includes a 17.7-inch touchscreen for both front-seat occupants and a 12.3-inch touchscreen in front of the passenger, as well as a 12.3-inch non-touchscreen for the instrument cluster. While the software can be a bit overwhelming, the voice controls are top-notch, providing smartphone-like responses to commonly used commands.

When deciding which EQS SUV model to buy, consider the 450 4Matic, which costs only about $3,000 more than the base model and adds the extra electric motor needed for all-wheel drive. For an additional $20,000, you can opt for the EQS SUV 580 4Matic, but think carefully about whether the extra power output is worth the higher price tag.

For those looking for the ultimate luxury experience, the top-of-the-line Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV 680 is priced at around $183,000. This ultra-luxury EV features premium interior trim and two 11.6-inch touchscreens for rear-seat passengers. While it doesn’t offer a third row, you can customize it with a four-seat setup, folding rear-seat tables, a heated center armrest, and heated and cooled cupholders for the ultimate luxury experience.

Overall, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV is a standout electric vehicle with impressive features and options. While it may come with a high price tag, it offers a luxurious driving experience that is sure to impress even the most discerning buyers.
