The Denza N9 SUV made its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show on November 15, unveiling an all-electric version with a total power of 710 kW. Alongside the Denza Z9 and Z9 GT, the N9 will serve as a flagship model for the Denza brand, all built on the Denza e3 platform featuring dual motors and air suspension for improved handling.

The N9 sports an enclosed grille, narrow headlight clusters, and adjustable air intake grilles at the front. Equipped with a Lidar unit for advanced smart driving capabilities, the car may feature BYD’s Eye of the Gods system. The body measures 5,258 mm long, 2,030 mm wide, and 1,830 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. Buyers can choose between 21 and 22-inch wheels with yellow brake calipers, while the PHEV variant weighs between 3130 and 3245 kg.

Powering the PHEV N9 are a 200 kW front axle motor and 240 kW motors for each rear wheel, along with a 152 kW 2.0T unit. The car is equipped with a 47 kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery pack providing an all-electric range of 165 km and a top speed of 230 km/h. The EV version will feature a three-motor setup with a total output of 710 kW, although details on the battery pack size remain undisclosed.

The interior of the Denza N9 remains a mystery, as BYD displayed the car with blacked-out windows at the Guangzhou Show. However, it is expected to follow a similar format to the Z9 GT, featuring three rows of seats with a 2 + 2 + 3 layout, independent captain chairs in the second row, a three-screen center console, and a storage box with heating and cooling functions.
