Beijing (Gasgoo)- On November 23, Huawei’s smart car alliance, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), unveiled the MAEXTRO S800, an ultra-luxury sedan created in collaboration with JAC Group. The MAEXTRO S800, dubbed the “Flagship of the Era,” is poised to compete in the ultra-premium vehicle segment, challenging established luxury brands like Maybach and Rolls-Royce. This new model will be unveiled at the Huawei Mate 70 smartphone series launch event on November 26, showcasing cutting-edge design and technology.

The teaser image released by HIMA focuses on the elegant rear design of the MAEXTRO S800. Featuring sleek lines, a full-width taillight assembly, and a unique starlit light strip with a red halo design, this sedan exudes luxury and sophistication. The MAEXTRO logo is prominently displayed in the taillight assembly, further enhancing its premium appeal.

Huawei’s CEO of Consumer Business Group, Yu Chengdong, revealed that the MAEXTRO S800 measures approximately 5.5 meters in length, placing it in the large luxury vehicle category for a spacious and opulent driving experience.

In July, JAC Group’s chairman Xiang Xingchu announced that the first vehicle developed in collaboration with HIMA has successfully completed testing and is scheduled for mass production by late 2024. The MAEXTRO S800 is set to hit the market in the first half of 2025, with ongoing research and development for future models in the pipeline.
