Bentley Flying Spur Speed Review 2024, Price & Specs

The Updated Interior of the Bentley Flying Spur Speed

While the Bentley Flying Spur Speed maintains its luxurious and comfortable interior trim, there are missed opportunities for improvement in terms of design and technology advancements. In comparison to the latest premium models from Mercedes-Benz and BMW, the interior architecture of the Flying Spur feels somewhat dated.

Despite the fact that the Flying Spur Speed still has several years of service ahead of it, the lack of significant updates to the interior design is a cause for concern. Bentley is known for updating its models less frequently than other manufacturers, which raises questions about the longevity of the Flying Spur’s interior appeal.

Although the new version of the Flying Spur offers some new trim options, such as dark chrome and quilted leather trim, the overall design remains largely unchanged from the previous model. While the starting position of the interior is strong, with a comfortable and user-friendly layout, the lack of significant updates is noticeable.

The central 12.3-inch touchscreen is a standout feature, offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality. In addition to the touchscreen, there are physical switches on the center console for functions like heating and ventilation, as well as key shortcut buttons beneath the screen.

Buyers can choose between two different rear cabin configurations: a two-seater with a large rear center console or a 2+1 seating configuration with two large rear seats and a smaller central seat. The 20-way adjustable seats come with an optional ‘wellness function’ that is designed to reduce fatigue through heating, cooling, and posture adjustments.

Despite the lack of major updates, the Flying Spur Speed remains a supremely comfortable car to drive and ride in. Rear legroom is excellent, and the rear cabin continues to be a luxurious and inviting space.

Overall, while the interior of the Bentley Flying Spur Speed may not have undergone significant changes, its strong starting position and focus on comfort and luxury ensure that it remains a top choice for those seeking a truly premium driving experience.
